facing ID on low res

Post by sadja »

I bought a 1/2 meg of ram to get me to the 1 meg to play on normal but I don't have it n right I guess and have to play on low res if I want the game to run smoothly. If you do normal with 1/2 meg you have all kinds of problems.
Now my question. I have trouble with facing when a unit is in line. I have though I was doing a rear attack on a AI unit in line and get smacked bad. Is there something I'm missing (most likely)

Don't you mean a 1/2 GB of RAM (512meg) to get to the 1 GB?

What type of RAM does your PC use? What PC? Most of the newer PC's you can't put memory in wrong. Maybe you need to go into the BIOS (while it is starting to boot-up) and configure that to read the new chips and memory upgrade. That is usually the case when new chips are not being read by the system.

are you sure you are hitting them from the rear ?

remember, we have in this game, front, side flanks, rear flanks and rear

so, a rear flank is not as good as a pure rear attack

I did a lot of complaining, and got a major minus to the way the combat system works on fire to the rear

can you tell if the unit attacked had Bart attached ? that seems to kick up the damage, even when all the minusses are added up

It was what I thought was direct rear, the problem with the chit is in line I can't seem to tell which way the line is facing. It is easy with col the show 3rgt up 1 back.
