After 5.0.1 install the game still lists 5.0.0

Hi there folks.

I installed the last patch for Starshatter: TGS but I still see 5.0.0 on the menu screen.

I tried it again with the same results. I ensured that I installed to the correct directory and I can see the 5.0.1 readme in the starshatter directory.

That makes me wonder if the patch was installed or not.

Do any of you know?

I think the patch installs a Stars.exe file to begin the game.

The original is named Starshatter:TheGatheringStorm.exe

If you use the original... version 5.0.0 will start.

You can either enable a new shortcut on your desktop using the NEW Stars.exe or delete the original Starshatter:TheGatheringStorm exe and rename Stars.exe to Starshatter:TheGatheringStorm.exe .
