Can't find folders to modify game

I've tried several times to locate the wawgoldregionsX.txt folder through my windows "search" process, but keep coming up with no results. Any advice? I downloaded via the net, if that makes any difference. Thanks. 32shaw

The region files are files - not folders. They are placed inside the dat folder which is inside the Gary Griegsby .... folder.

Okay.  When I did my windows search, I searched for the file "wawgoldregionsX.txt." in the "a World Divided" folder.  Do I need to preface that with something?  Should I search for "dat.wawgoldregionsX.txt."?  Thanks.

X is a wild card (maybe you saw this in some of the documentation?), try replacing it with *.

Search for "wawgoldregions*.txt".

If you did a normal installation and have the usual disk drive name, then the should all be in the following directory

C:\Matrix Games\Gary Grigsby's World at War A World Divided\dat

If not, then you can right click on the icon you use to start the game, select properties, and look in the "start in" field. Go to that directory, and under that directory go to the "dat" directory, and you should be there.

Thanks a lot, that worked. I couldn't figure out, though, how to modify a unit's levels (e.g I wanted to lower the land attack value of the WA heavy bombers in the East vs West scenerio so I could play the scenerio without the A Bomb. Can you help me here?

Look in the file wawgoldunitdata46.txt, find the following and change the value in bold.
