Much quieter day today as the British squadrons both broke off their pursuit.....both sighted well to the East and West of the "Zone of Death!" Our convoy reached safety with no losses (though a little bit of grumbling as the battleship escort force retired back to Taranto @ full speed while the convoy was still a hundred miles from port....Supermarina was worried about a possible carrier strike on their precious battleships.
