Riverine troubles

Here are some scenarios that show the deployment problems associated with riverine units.

They deploy for some locations on the edge of the map. They will not deploy on large or small canals regardless.

You may want to change objectives, but reconstitution has trouble also.

This is a problem from TOAW I.
