Sigel's ratings

Call for Volunteers! This sub-forum is devoted to our ongoing project of researching and
writing brief biographical sketches of all 1000 Civil War generals, each
of whom has a chance of appearing when one plays "Forge of Freedom."
Players are invited to participate in providing info for these bios, which will be added to the game by means of patches, as they are
written.

Sigel's ratings

Post by General Quarters »

Sigel is rated as 4566 -- in the same general range as Reynolds, Meade, Hancock, and Doubleday. I am not aware of anything in his record to justify such high scores.

You're 110% correct!!! Sigel had a couple of moments of doing well, and that's all. His main affect was encoraging Americans of German descent and Germans in Europe to support the war. Plus, he was brave. So, maybe a good Leadersip value and everything else as 2's and 3's. I think it is the Leadership value that affects morale and rallies etc., not sure off the top of my head, but you all know anyway what value is what.

You might want to look at his bio and the suggested ratings.

I was just agreeing with GQ, but I will see Sigel's new ratings eventually. Thanx, Chris

I don't remember, but the 4-5-6-6 was probably the randomly generated rating, which I've now replaced with 3-3-2-3. That's what will be in the patch.

He doesn't teach any abilities, either.
