not really...but since this is a beta playtest....Chuck and I tend to share info. My 88 reserves are low. I set German replacement rates fairly low to represent the fact that the Luftwaffe has more pressing concerns elsewhere as well as to simply reduce indirectly the intensity of air ops on the game. Essentially The DAK/Fleigerkorps X can't afford to loose too many bombers or fighters all at once.
Tobruk, despite my fighter sweeps is looking to be a little too hot for my unescorted strikes from the Aegean sea area. Oh well.....at least we pounded Ajax good.

actually, using the pursuit mode/shock attack, the August storm scenario works pretty well though it's still a challenge to get to Korea before the scenario ends. I didn't have high hopes for this attack due to the time it took to get there. Part of this had to do with Pwhex issues, part of it was due to follow-all command bug issues but part of it was my bad strategy as well. (Should have shocked with pursuit)
Anyway turned out better than I thought. Regardless of the battle's outcome though, i'm now thinking i made a boo boo by upping Tobruk's fort level from 2 to 6. (probably higher now!) I kept forgetting that this scenario covers Rommel: Reloaded, vs. his first foray into Libya and this time the Brits would be far less prepared to survive a seige there where the defenses had been allowed to decay. I have little hope of taking the fortress even if i surround it. I'm also concerned about the very low level of support present in the Axis LCU's.

Yep. Supplies aren't in the red yet, but they are deeply in the orange, despite a Fast Transport TF I snuck in. I'll try to withstand one more attack at Barce, but it's not looking good... [:(]
In other news, radio intercepts over the last couple days have confirmed the sinking of a second Italian AK and two Italian DMs. Such a crushing blow to the Italian Navy will surely lead to an early capitulation...
