Cota Tutorial

Hi,

Im having problems with the tutorial. When I choose to play as the Allies, the units shown on the map are those of the Axis, so I cant follow the tutorial through. The readme says not to install the patch until your through with the tutorial -does the patch correct the tutorial ? Can I download the patch and still play the tutorial ?

Welcome.
 
You may have accidentally turned off the display of units by hitting the "U" key. Press "U" and see if they are displayed or ensure the units icon on the Display Toolbar at the bottom of the screen is depressed. The other possibility is the unit filter. Press "1" to show all units.

I've just got this game and have downloaded the latest patch - I'm just trying to work my way through the tutorial but my unit icons differ to the way it shows in the tutorial manual. There are no unit designations visible nor any HQ indicators andthe force size symbol for each unit shows as 'I' rather than the 'II' shown in the manual. Can anyone help????

To slightly amend that - the enemy units do show up as in the tutorial with unit designation, etc. It's the friendly ones that are different

Can you please provide a screendump - just hit the Print Screen button to copy the screen to the clipboard and then paste it into a paint program, save it as a JPEG file and upload it here. If you don't have a paint program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop you can use MS Paint program it comes with your system.
