I own GoT and Spartan...

I own Gates of Troy and Spartan...do I need Chariots of War?

What are the major differences?

Is it worth owning with my current library?

You don't need CoW.

But personally I think its a better game, even though it is simpler. It just seems to capture the necessary 'flavour' better than Spartan or GoT. Easily worth the money.

Personally, I enjoy this game more than Spartan, although it is a little easier (and thus pure fun [:)] )

In Spartan, I had to deal with raging Persian and Romans from off-map. In CoW, it is all about economics and that means strategy. You have to expand well early on, taking towns for the resources (do not skimp on food!)

The only minor drawback is that it sometimes takes a while to get your armies to the front, but then it is a huge map! [8D]

I also liked the map a little better than the Greek game, since cities are usually spread out, and groups of cities are nice stragetic areas to battle over.

Anyway, this is a good game. [;)]
