well Spruance and Bellinger should be retiring SE towards Noumea, theyve done their job

ive detached a surface force to Buna to see if i can add another headache for him

the Wake Task Force is underway, theyre escorted by Enterprise and Hornet, with Halsey and Mitscher in command respectively

the TF is carrying the 24th Division plus supporting forces

ETA is about a week


Riley has said that his plans are possibly ruined in the Sopac with the loss of Shokaku and Zuikaku

however theyre very close to Rabaul so im not certain the USN has seen the last of em

at the moment theres just way too many IJN and IJA planes in the area, plus hes ticked lol, and though i was tempted to order a pursuit, i want my carriers,. and Spruance intact if possible, for the battles ahead...
