Situation Map Report, North Pacific Command Dec 19th 1941

Two enemy submarines spotted in the area, probably scouting for futures landings in Aleutians Islands. Dutch Harbor urgently strengthen with 1 RCT and 1 EAB. Aircrafts awaited from West Coast.

SitRep Map about south pacific area after "Webcob" unsuccesfully operation.

Spotted a amphibious force in South Pac area and japanese landings at Baker Island, and then in Nukufetau, the South Pac Cruiser Division (CA Louisville, CL Achilles and CL Leander) have been sent to intercept the landings at Canton Island and the Light División with CL Saint Louis and 2 fleet DD have been ordered to attack the Nukufetau landing group after the enemy ships were been attacked by PG Niagara (sunk in naval combat vs. 4 enemy PG´s at Nukufetau). PG Niagara has been send to this area like scout.

No.4 RNAF Sqnd have been transfered from New Zealand Command to Central Pac and it have been sent to Canton to naval attack missions.

SitRep Map at DEI, Dec 19th, 1941

Baby KB spotted near Java Island. All air forces at Soerabaja ready, with 74 fighters, 71 level bombers and 31 torpedo-bombers. Force Z at Soerabaja ready for surface combat if necesary (if enemy approach 2 or less hex at Soerabaja base). Royal Eastern Fleet with ensign aboard BB Revenge at Tjilitjap awaiting for orders. Several submarines called for anti-ship operations in the area.
