Super Six Year Two

Post by SmilinJack »

Super Six Week One - 2008

Boston 14, Phoenix 13 (BST Caruna 7 of 14 153 td)
Philadelphia 20, Chicago 10 (PHI Eytcheson 6 of 11 145 2tds)
Los Angeles 35, New York 13 (LA Putman 23 rushes 108 2 tds)

Two new head coaches face off in week one and Kenneth Scott and Los Angeles get their first franchise victory over Freddie Harris and New York. Mattias tossed for over 200 yards and it appears the rookie RB Putman may be just what Mattias needed to keep defenses guessing.

Boston gets revenge for their Championship loss to Phoenix last year. New QB Caruna appears to have what it takes to lead Boston.

Chicago has now lost three in a row going back to last years disatrous fall.

Super6 Week Two Results 2008

Boston 31, LA 23 (LA Mattias 42 of 67 434 2tds/3ints)
NY 31, Philly 17 (NY Beegle 7 of 14 303 4tds/1int)
Chicago 28, Phoenix 3 (CHI OClair 7 rec 181 td)

Phoenix 0-2!! Championship hangover. L.A.'s good luck evaporated in the wake of 3 Mattias interceptions...where's Putman.

Week Three Results 2008

Chicago 14, NY 9 (CHI Curb 8 of 12 214 2tds)
Boston 23, Philly 3 (BST Trentman 3 sacks)

Boston 3 and ohhh...looking for the championship. Phoenix gets off the egg at the expense of L.A. and an over-worked Mattias...he leads the Six in INTs. Chicago climbs into second place at 2-1...quietly plotting?

Hi Gary,

I try to balance it. I sim some and watch some. This seems to create the best overall final stats and standings. LA currently has too many played games so, I'll sim them more in the second half. Chicago and Philadelphia need some watched games too.

It seems to work ok.

DAVID fix the quick sim play production and this baby is pretty tight. We need plays every 25 seconds and your quick sim and 3D game will be very close.

Jay

Pardon the rant...I sometimes digress under the excitement of what MAXFB can really be.

Super6 Week Four Results - 2008

Boston 24, Chicago 19 (BST Margaitis 24 rushes 78; 6 rec for 111 2 tds)
Los Angeles 21, Philadelphia 11 (LA Defense 6 sacks)
Phoenix 24, New York 10 (PHX Stash 4 rec 125 2 tds)

Boston remains undefeated while LA, Chicago and Phoenix sit in tourney position at
2-2 each. Rookie RB Putman just trails New York's Schwind for the league rushing title and
Mattais, barring injury, will easily earn the passing title. Los Angeles with last weeks
defensive performance cannot be underestimated.

Defending champs Phoenix, continue to play inconsistant football and Bolles cannot stay
healthy. A shot at this years Cup is unlikely.

Chicago cannot beat the good teams but handles the bad easily...classic underachievers.
