Fantastic job. Given circumstances, I don't think we could ask for anything more!

I made aload of flags for a Squad Battles mod.

Infact some here look very similar.

If the developer wants them I shall send them over.

Whoops. Since I made the mod Ive reformatted my hard drive. Ill have to check some disks to see if I saved the falgs before putting them on the counters. If not you may have to cut them off the coutner. You can get the mod here.

Thanks for the offer. If you find the files, I would be interested in looking at them. My intent is to make many alternatives available to the players. Is ownership/copyright an issue?

I vote for flag #2

#3 is it too close to the nazi flag. Believe it or not, it is an immediate turn down when I see a nazi symbol on a product I buy. Even if it's one of my favorite wargames. (Is that why I've always disliked DoD? Maybe...).

Hello,

On the new 2007 WiF FE counters, I realized that ADG had replaced all swastikas on all countersheets by Balkenkreuz. ADG has done this since a couple of years ago to avoid falling under antinazi laws in Germany, but I only realize now, that what ADG has taken to replace the swastika could be taken also for MWiF.

On this picture, on the bottom, here is what a 84x56 flag for Germany would look using ADG's Balkenkreuz.
The one on the top is the one currently the default flag for Germany

The one on top (default flag) is much nicer, i think.

I agree that the top one is superior, unless at some zoom level the simpler one works better.

Also, I thought the anti-Nazi laws stated that the swastika was banned except in an educational context. I would have thought WiF qualifies in this respect.

Second options is much better as the picture will be viewed in very low zoom.

This is old too, but I like the rising sun (I think that's what this is) to the red circle.

Well, somebody predicted that the German cross would not be visible in the top stripe and he was right! Better outline the cross or put it in a circle or something.

Could you show us #2 just for kicks? I'm not changing my vote, but it is hard to tell it's a cross at this point.

Also, how about trying the Japanese flag with all the rays shooting out of the sun. I don't know the history, but we use that one in CB and I think it is really cool.
