Battle of Britain

You know, I did fire up Battle of Britain and played a one day scenario, but I was finding there were shortfalls, specifically

• Wanting to see, at a glance, what aircraft are available. There is a screen which shows you types of aircraft, but that doesn't list how many you have
• There are other examples of where the display falls short of what you may want to see "at a glance"
• Targeting - not being able to filter enough...like, there's a button to show industries, but you can't "specifically" highlight oil refineries...or radar - you can't specifically highlight low radar

In the end, it was turning out too hard to make an AAR for it...I started, but I was starting to write more and more "...but I wish..."

So I can only hope things have progressed with this new version. To be fair, they may have been addressed in Bombing of the Reich (I never had that one).

If I do fire up Battle of Britain again, I may try and write AAR...but the game doesn't take too kindly to ALT-TABBING either which is a must for writing an AAR.

you can click on Target List and it brings up a list of all target types, then click on the type you want and it brings up a 2nd list of detail targets of that kind ?

also on the target list, it shows only that type on the map while that screen is up
 
Radar, yea, here I got to agree, it only shows Radar, it does not really know High or Low, as far as target type is concerned, the game knows the difference between the two
