Wow, this pbem game is still going? And people wonder why most of us want solo games and stong AI's. Congrats on holding off the Allies so far. Excuse me, I have about 100 pages to read now. [;)] Serves me right for not visiting this forum for 2 years (I'm a full-time student these days, I haven't had time for WITP since 2005).

Hehe, welcome back Brisd! The AAR is rather slow right now. When I was a student, no problemo...with work, new apartment, work out, a gf - a life in other words - I find myself sitting gaping at the monitor around this time [:'(]

Lots of logistics each turn. Will be months until the Navy can put together a battle fleet again.
I also want to rest and refit the Air Force. Alas, Andy's carriers outside the Bonins are left mostly in peace.

The situation on the fronts is stable, so it's a good time to gather reinforcements.

Enemy has mostly been stalled in Thailand/Burma and I'm awaiting Andy's next move.
Building a large reserve of kamis and trying to train as many pilots as possible.

Will attempt to hit back at the enemy every now and then. Have to concentrate a lot of
firepower against a single target in order to achieve anything else than loosing 300 ac.

That's the way to go, PzB!

Ambushes like that is your only choice now - good for the Imperial morale [;)] and bad for Allied bomber's morale[:D].

Every ambush will force Andy to be more careful about sending bombers in the raids and that will buy you a couple of days - even if you don't intercept him every time. Just watch him and try to get perfect timing - when his fighers are fatigued and yours arent... even worse ac type can inflict serious losses to superior ac when they are fatigued....and forcing the enemy planing into details - something what Andy, it seems, doesn't like very much[:D]

Greetings Pauk-San! [8D]

Afraid it's only pin pricks, Andy doesn't care whether he loose 100 ac every day. Got more
than enough Army bombers and fighters.

Tried to send air units to the Bonins as I hoped Andy would concentrate more on the front in Bangkok.
Think the red air marker gave us away and hundreds of heavies from Marcus hit Iwo. Some 100 ac torched on the
ground. Of the bombers that did take of from Bonin almost every single one were shot down.

So the situation is pretty dead locked - and not too exciting.
I need the super interceptor to get more fun out of this game now [:'(]

Tomorrow we receive the huge I-400 sub with 3 Glens.
Got plenty of subs around Wake and Marcus, but they refuse to attack the unescorted enemy transports.
Guess I will save the subs for the next Allied invasion.

Yes, it's really difficult to surprise anyone with this free info.
Have to be patient and build enough reserves to prevent Andy from conducting another amphbious
invasion. Just a few more months and the Zekes can be replaced by Reppus and the Shinden go into
production. Then I will have my revenge [:D]

Yes, the Franks pack a punch!
But Andy got so many P-38s that it's not a very good use of Imperial resources.

Brave little sub [:'(]

Ro's are definitely worth building. Sending swarms, or even just some of them can prove efficient, just like you tend to show it...
