Adding Ships to database

Post by DoomedMantis »

Hi I was just fooling around with the editor and added some ships for my amusement into a new scen slot 26, but for some reason, none of the ships have come into the game.

Can someone give me some step by step guides

I copied an existing ship and put that into another slot, changed the captain to random and chose a base that the ship should go to

Could be a number of reasons: invalid slot #, delay date, maybe some others. Post a screen shot of the editor screen showing the new ship and we'll try to help further. Rest assured, it is possible to add some ships!

Just read that Jap ships must be in slots 1 - 2999, well that explains the above one, but I did create one in slot 53, but didnt change the captin from the copied ship, would that be a reason why that ship didnt show up?

That sunk date is invalid. Dates are 6 digits, not five.
