Strange messages in B-Mod

Playing Big-B mod, Scen 190 vs Allied AI

I always get messages like these when aircraft aboard ships upgrade:

CII-1 Datai converting to A6M2 Zero aboard Empire Lough.

That's Zuiho's fighter group, and sure enough, they did upgrade from Claudes to Zeros....

I get a different "Empire" ship name every time a Japanese ship's attached air group upgrades.....even float planes on CAs and BBs.

It doesn't seem to affect anything....just wondering why it says that?

Sounds like some kind of pointer in the program is messed up.  I don't recall ever seeing a message like that, but then I don't usually watch the scrolling messages at the bottom of the screen all that closely when the turn is processing.

I wouldn't be surprised if that problem isn't in all scenarios.

BTW, I notice you're in Loas Osos.  I need to be in Morro Bay in a couple of weeks.  My parents live there and I need to go down for some surgery my father is having.

wdolson, thanks for the reply and best of luck with your dad's surgery. The hospitals in San Luis are very highly regarded so I'm sure he'll be in good hands.

TOMLABEL, thanks for the confirmation....I had just about convinced myself that something went screwy with the install and that I need to uninstall WitP, and start from scratch! Maybe I'll peek in on the Allied side and see what I can see...

I really don't have a clue here - I haven't noticed that myself...

BUT.... - are you guys playing against the AI?

I play entirely PBEM, - but because of updates, I am testing against the AI of course - and I noticed tons of messages I never see in PBEM.

So it probably happens in my game too if I were playing against AI. Still, I don't know why you see the messages..

Yep, I'm playing against the AI. I only see it as the Japanese player, and not when I'm playing the Allies.
