I've installed the game vs. 1.05 from disc to a folder that I've called CHS/MOD. This folder is in the Matrix Games folder along with WitP vs. 1.08. I want to patch the vs. 1.05 up to 1.08.04 so that I can download the CHS MOD into it. Do I need the 1.06 patch before I can use the comprehensive patch and if so where can I find it? Also, am I sailing into stormy waters by having two different versions of the game installed in the Program/Matrix folder?

Nay, should be be able to have multiple versions of the software. Preferably in different folders.
