Tactical battle questions

UFO: Extraterrestrials is a futuristic real-time/turn-based strategy blend set on the fictional planet of Esperanza in 2025. Having made a bloody first contact with a strange form of life from another planet, the player is thrust into the tough position of leading the defense of this isolated planet against the never-ending assault of these hostile invaders

Tactical battle questions

- Is there a way for my soldiers to go prone ?

- Once my unit is down (got hit with some kind of green gas) can I heal him up or is he sent to hospital and nothing I can do about it.

- The alien bodies; weapons; technology...is automatically collected at the end of the mission ?

There is no prone.   Once a unit goes down, he's down for the rest of the mission.   Any kind of bodies/technlogy will be collected once you complete the mission.

As far as I know there is no way to go prone, only to kneel.
