After what I have witnessed here today, I want to let you know that I will happily be purchasing this game from you when it becomes available tonight. The excellent level of service I have seen here is extremely rare these days and is truly appreciated. I look forward to tonights purchase and many more in the future. Thank you for making the choice to use Matrix an easy one.

I've seen this for every Matrix game that I have been interested in or purchased. The one thing I'd like to see here, that is missing, is direct contact with the developers. Hopefully after the game releases, we'll be able to get them here.

Me aswell, I'm going to cancel my order with EB games in the morning. The customer support and the postings from the staff and all of the good things I've heard have sold me on becoming a matrix games buying. I'm looking forward to more purchases in the future.

I posted this in another thread, but this is probably more where it belongs.

Hello Erik,

Thanks for your feedback on this game - what really strikes me (and is quite refreshing, actually) is your honesty regarding your comments. If you don't know something, you say it, and if something's not there (even if maybe it is and you just haven't found it yet) you admit it. You have no idea how impressed I am and I have gone from being on the fence to ordering the DD essentially just to support a company who showcases such ethics. [:)]

Thanks again!!

And to add to my previous post - ethics matter. To a lot of people. It would be so easy for Erik to basically say "this game is the bomb - best game ever - buy it now if you even call yourself a strategy gamer'... after all, his company is selling the game in a niche market and every single copy sold matters. Plus, no returns on downloads, so hey, if they don't like it, we made our money, baby!! This is how you treat customers. This is how you support and explain your products without resorting to salesmanship hyperbole and dubious promises, which I think most of us gamers are pretty sick of from the 'big' publishers at this point.

I have used Matrix since 2003 and barring a disaster, I will be a lifetime customer from here onward. [8D] Bravo, Matrix. Bravo.

Just thought I mention that my purchase last night was, happily, pain free.  After my CC info went through (~1min) I was immediatly able to start downloading.  No need to wait for email, which is good since I have yet to receive one but whatever.  Download began at 11:10cst and maxed out my 3mbps cable line, finished 1.9gb download by 12:50cst.  Just wanted to let you know that after going through everything, from the customer service and communication on the forum to the actual purchase, I am extremely happy and without a doubt be making more purchases from Matrix in the future.  I will most definetly be recommending Matrix to everyone I know.  Well done on making your entire operation smooth as a baby's bum.

I've ordered about 5 games from matrix in the past year and there site and service is awesome. As long as I can get the game on Matrix I don't usually by from a store. Great job guys.

You may want to move this thread into the "we love matrix" forum.[&o]

Oh yea, so we stay on topic.. I'm downloading the game right now and just looking through the threads.

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents as well that I joined the site and bought UFO:ET from Matrix after seeing their customer service and help leading up to the game's release.
