HQs not giving out Attack Bullets

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. Players will have realistic control over their soldiers, with a tactical scale just large enough to make a telling difference in the strategic picture.

HQs not giving out Attack Bullets

Post by Captain Cruft »

I have a persistent problem in Market Garden with the KG Henke HQ unit not giving out attack bullets to its units.

The HQ has never moved and is definitely in supply, but on some turns its attack bar goes red (with used bullets) and the attached arty units 4 hexes away have not received any bullets.

There's nothing in the manual about this, any clues please?

Where is KG Henke's supply unit?   Henke's supply unit must provide supply (it actually provides the restocking attack/artillery bullets, Henke HQ burst area is required to allow the resupply).

The truck is no more, sadly ...

So ...

Defensive bullets can be got from any source or unit in that country's supply net.
Attack bullets can ONLY be got from the unit's HQ's supply truck.

That does explain why there are so many "superfluous" supply trucks running around, and why every HQ unit has its own truck.

Thanks [:)]

I hate starting new theads.  So forgive the piggybacking in advance.

Questions:

In Gazala, when I pick on the organization button in the HQ command area, it turns all the units under its control to a green highlight.  On some turns, I get a few or even a whole division turn YELLOW.  What does this mean?   I scoured the manual and couldn't find it.

I recall, but can't find on SSG or here (not saying its not here) where you can tell if an HQ is static or not.  Can someone enlighten me again?

Unrealated ?:  In Market Garden, I don't see any sherman units that are Firefly's.  Have I not looked close enough?  I'm fairly sure the 30 Corp had many Firefly's in use during MG.

thanks ... and sorry for any reposts  [&o]

Green means the unit is receiving attack bullets (in HQ range). Yellow means the unit misses out on bullets (started turn outside HQ range). There is also a light blue... it means the unit is getting resupplied bullets by another HQ. The light blue occurs for higher HQ units operating in a subordinates area of operations (think Corps unit attached to a division).

Right click pop up of the HQ unit should list this in words with v1.01.

Thanks again.  I though it may have something to do with supply.

What is the easiest way to tell from which HQ a "blue" unit did receive its Attach Supply from? Anything else besides cycling thru your HQ units and see when it turns up green? Thanks.

Fireflys were integrated into regular Sherman platoons, usually one and occasionally two per platoon.
