No production at start?

Post by JaguarUSF »

So I lost one of my fighters and I can't produce another one, or anything else, from the production menu. Do I need to research something in order to produce it? It doesn't make sense that you would be given a shiny new fighter and not told how to make it.

Try buying one instead.[:)]

Yep, production is for creating things that you've researched (i.e. that only you can create). Standard starting equipment like the base fighter and weapons are purchased from your sponsoring nations through the buy/sell screen for each base.

Silly secretive countries! Though that does make sense when you think about it.

It's best to bail out of air combat when things are not looking good...the only problem with that is that the combat is not as detailed as I would like so keeping an eye on the fighters healthbar while having your cursor poised over the abort button is the best option so far.....although those pesky UFO's will give chase if they smell blood!
