Right advisor?

When playing the standard scenario with the new patch (though c, not d) I get as the South an advisor in bluecoat who tells me about my surprise attacks, paniccing of my units...
Is that intended or should it be the guy in the gray uniform with the cavalry hat?

Sometimes you'll see the advisor for the other side -- I believe that a few things like the results of scouting checks are announced by the side that made the scouting check, regardless of who you are as a player.
