RE: THE GOOD WILL THREAD

Post by robpost3 »

We will not build a peaceful world by following a negative path. It is not enough to say we must not wage war. It is necessary to love peace and sacrifice for it. We must concentrate not merely on the negative expulsion of war but on the positive affirmation of peace. We must see that peace represents a sweeter music, a cosmic melody, that is far superior to the discords of war. Somehow, we must transform the dynamics of the world power struggle from the negative nuclear arms race, which no one can win, to a positive contest to harness humanity's creative genius for the purpose of making peace and prosperity a reality for all the nations of the world. In short, we must shift the arms race into a peace race. If we have a will - and determination - to mount such a peace offensive, we will unlock hitherto tightly sealed doors of hope and transform our imminent cosmic elegy into a psalm of creative fulfillment.

Use it up,
Wear it out,
Make do,
Or do without.

Awesome! I've been on here for...what...6 weeks? And I rated the middle of Zap's list! And that makes me feel good. [:D]

Pardon me, but I'm really not interested in being part of a club that would have someone like myself as a member. [:-]

It's pretty obvious that the list was a countdown to the most important posters.[8D] But Hey, you're still smack in the middle.[;)]

Its almost better that I did not explain myself so well about the list. Your interpretations of the list are better than what I intended to say[:D] I don't have the heart to take the good feelings away from you who were named.

If you want to see what I intended go back to the list(now edited) but I warn you it may hurt.

Blame it on me for my poor ability to explain myself.

Easy, parusski, hizzoner and I are just having a little good-natured fun...

Oh pasternakski I just had to tease JudgeDredd a little. Well, actually I was trying to get him to show some annoyance.[;)][:D]

OK, OK. But you did wonder how long it would take to go into the gutter. So I was sticking one foot in the gutter hoping to trick you to follow.

And now for something completly sappy-I think you are one of the most thoughtfull and considerat posters on the forum.

Some of my personal favorites. Posters in these hallowed halls of the Matrix forums.

Note: This does not mean that there are others who are not my favorites as well. But for lack of time and space I can not name them here.
But please note, that those I have not noted with special mention are very humble men and women and would not consider this lack of attention on my part as an insult. So, thank you all in advance for your understanding.
