Looking for ALLIED opponent for CHS

Post by Hortlund »

So Ive just finished my setup as japan, and imagine my surprise when my would-be opponent decided to ditch the game. That means Ive got an opening for a dedicated allied opponent. Any takers? Just send me a pm.

Excellent. Its CHS, extended map with the nikmod changes...I think that makes it scenario...157? I dont remember exactly, but you know which one I mean.

Houserules, absolutely. I usually try to play as realistically as possible, I suggest we use these "standard" houserules

1. ASW TF's. No more than 6 ships allowed. No Admirals allowed to command.*

2. No forward base refueling of SS TF's in ports under size 3,unless a AO, TK, or AS
is present.

3. No 4E bomber missions under 6000', except for ASW/Search missions.*

4. No Japanese LCU naval invasions north of Tavoy until Singapore falls.

5. No Corsair's allowed on US CV's until 1/44. Except for transport missions.*

6. No Naval Attack by Allied land based bombers (2E bombers) under 1000', until 1/43.*

7. PT boats may not be combined with any other type ship. Except when transfering to
another base.*

8. Only minelaying classed ships may use mines. For those that want to restrict mine
usage.

9. No invasions against hexes that do not contain a dot/base in them. Not every coastal
hex was suitable for amph ops.

10. LCU's belonging to the Kwangtung Command may not leave Manchuria unless PP's are spent to change their command. No China Command LCU may leave China or Manchuko witout changing their HQ.

No India Command LCU's may leave India/Ceylon unless it's HQ is changed.
Only India Command LCU's that start in Burma are exempt from this rule.

11. Only transport type aircraft may be used to move LCU's. Unless troops are being
evacuated to another friendly base that is not currently under attack by LCU's.

12. No rearming TF's in ports smaller than 3 without an AE present.

13. No rearming of capital ships in ports smaller than 3 without an AO/TK and AE present.

14. US bombers may only fly bombing missions from bases where a US base force is present.

edit: oops, and one port strike on the first turn only of cource.

Hi
I agree to those points except indian troops should be able to fight into burma without hq changed as they did.
Us Bomber can fly from other bases if their HQ is changed to permit Philippine bombers to be used in China and South East Asia command.
Is that okay with you?
I await your move and will send it back tomorrow.
is it a historical or a nonhistorical start?
What are you and I allowed to do on the first turn?

CHS 208 + nikmod + extended map that means scenario 157 if Im not misstaken.

I agree that Indian troops can enter Burma. And I agree that US bombers can fly for SE Asia or China if their HQ is changed.

It will be a nonhistorical start. You are not allowed to do anything on turn 0 except in China where you can do anything you want. I am allowed to do one portstrike but other than that, I am allowed to do whatever I want.
