Not a real AAR EA

Post by freeboy »

After blitzing through France and the Low countries, I did see the very interesting option to bribe Franco with French NA and continue our little atatck on France.. May 40!.. Norway and Denmark together as well.. interesting as I was hoping to not do the Norway thing right away, kind of forces the Axis hand.. brought in Italy right off, they are a help and Africa is getting going.. seems my friend expending some energy in Norway and France... love the non historical choices, choice added armor builds.. would do this again, and carriers, would NOT add them seem too weak and innafective... wish I could do things like "no BB builds but improived subs" or " race for the Jet option" giving a chance at better fighters in numbers wquicker as the US will be in this too soon... just rolled the try fo Iraq coup.. interesting varients, especially the Sweds declaring War on Sovs after they did too wel in Finn! GREAT scenario!!!!

Their troops, fleet, and air force should have now become avaialable for use, as it was always present on the board...If you clicked on them previously, you would have been unable to move, them, but now you should be able to.

Were the Spanish not around at all? Even before you decided to have them join? That would be very strange...
Which version are you using? The one that shipped with TOAW III, or another that was created after the release of TOAW III?

ok, checked two places.. an in game save.. they where not on board before activation, and the starter turn one.. they are there.. so maybe my accedental attack of poland on t2, I thought we where at war and my oponent and I decided it was a minor issue, no pun intended.. so we are working arround the issue..
fyi ussingthe newest taow 3 b release... we also had the polish units in east issue where they did not go away .. this has been reported by others .. no worries.. hope in the next game they stay on, but I will for sure not activea franco without his troops, how do you say Don Quixote?

aug 40 nd Gibralter falls, The General staff is in an uproar as too few transports are found and the offensive stalls as troops cannot get to Africa... the Brits are kicking ass in the East and many air units are being sent too hold the line ... Greace and Yugo on the back burner in an attempt to placate the US Congress...
Finns hav stalled the Sov offensive...
Once we get some troops into the fight Africa should fold like a deck of cards.. and Then we can seriously get ready for USSR

Only thing I can think of. Mark went through TOAW IIIb with a fine tooth comb trying to iron out the wrinkles.

Right'o. Well, if you decide to play EA again, the engine bugs that were plauging EA (and other large scale scenarios) have been fixed. And if you do decide to play again, I'd (and, I'm sure, more than just myself) would love to see an AAR! :D
