All quiet on the Western......

John Tiller's Campaign Series exemplifies tactical war-gaming at its finest by bringing you the entire collection of TalonSoft's award-winning campaign series. Containing TalonSoft's West Front, East Front, and Rising Sun platoon-level combat series, as well as all of the official add-ons and expansion packs, the Matrix Edition allows players to dictate the events of World War II from the tumultuous beginning to its climatic conclusion. We are working together with original programmer John Tiller to bring you this updated edition.

Hi James, i'm Scorched Earth on the gamesquad site and if you would like a game to brush up your skills as a friendly get in touch and come over to the site. We need fresh meat :-)

cheers
Robert

Hehe, fresh meat indeed. This meat bites back real hard [:D]

Just as soon as Matrix see's fit to let us loose on the release, I'll be more than happy to lock horns with all and sundry.
Cheers

Hours or days.

Or maybe weeks... [:D]

Right is better than fast. But when the ball is just sitting pretty on a tee, sometimes you just gotta hit it. [;)]

Everyone seems convinced that there is a minor problem resulting from testing, once that's ironed out, and assuming there is only one issue... I wonder how long a marketing period they need to get the web updated etc before general availability?[8|]

My recollection is when the Operational Art of War issued, there were a lot of bugs -- and I suspect there were more bugs than Matrix thought was acceptable.  Minor bugs are expected, but I had the impression there were more than minor bugs.  I'm thinking Matrix wants to put out as nearly a bug-free product as possible to reset a standard of excellence.  Or maybe, despite the minor issues, no one's had the time to get to them.  The Memorial Day weekend might be the perfect time to finish up the last touches, or it might prolong the wait if everyone is attending to the family.  The wait can be fun too.  I check every morning.

Cheers

I am assuming all is well, but I am still waiting for news as well. I will post as soon as I hear something.

Take care and good luck

[:D] I thought Jason might regret saying that later on. Sounds a bit overly optimistic.

I can only assume, in the same quirk of fate that cause COTA, TOAWIII and Harpoon to be released within days of each other last year, that destiny is once again lining up the stars on us. Expect CSME, Carriers At War and who knows what else to assault my credit card simultaneously in the next few days or weeks.

Regret? Naw... by definition, I will be "correct" whenever the release is. Apparently I have high hopes!

Semantics, eh?

Take care and good luck
