Game will not install

I am unable to install the game. I can unzip the file, but when I click to install the exe file, it just hangs forever and never makes any progress. (The install screen never starts)

I tried redownloading the file in case there was an error there, and I still had the same problem the 2nd time.

I am running Vista if that somehow matters.

Please advise.

Never mind.  I was it finally installed after I let it think about it over night.  If anyone else is having this problem, you might want to just try waiting.

Did you have any kind of security software running in the background? Like virus scanners or a personal firewall? Sounds like this rather common issues with big installer files and security software checking every bit of it. We recommend to turn of virus scanners or personal firewalls before starting the installation process.

Just did the didgtal download and now the game wont install .... just hangs and said "Not Responding" [&:] .... Have to go into the Task Manager and close them down... there is no firewall for antivirus running ??? help please the error I get is " Windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

Yeah, I have let Vista sit for at least 5 minutes and still nothing lemme try like for overnight and let you know haha.  I have no virus, spyware nothing running, or even installed.  Athlon X2 @ 2.4, 2gb ram, 7900gtx, XFI, plenty of hard drives.... I'll post back after I let it sit for ages heh.

Yeah let it wait, I had to for about 20 mins before it "Started".  It'll go, just takes a while, grab a beer and watch Tv for about a half hour and come back.

But the error I get cloeses everthing down .... trying some other stuff well let you know how it goes ... now it tells me the file is password protected ..... whats the password I use ... Or is this just F'ed up ??

Same issue here with Vista [:@] except it only took about 45 minutes. Just click on the installer and go have lunch. By the time you get back it will be ready. As Vista [:@] problems go, this one is minor [:(]
