Indian Ocean map report, Dec 13th 1941.

After air landings from Yokosuka 2nd SNLF over Nicobar and Port Blair, both enemy bases have fallen in my hunger hands !.
i send by air 123 IJA Base Force (changed to Burma Area) between both bases and a air detachment with 23 Ki-43 for CAP and 4 Jakes for naval search like forward elements.
Another 8 Pete from HIJMS Kimikawa Maru have been sent to Nicobar Island.
In the rear, at Victoria Point, 26 G3M1 Nell from Mihoro Daitai awaiting orders to attack if Royal Navy ships would be spotted.

December 18th, 1941.
Port Moresby Invasion Group steaming south from Saipan-Truk gathering near Bismark straits, and heading to Port Moresby with the following OOB

1.- Surface Action Group:
CL Tatsuta, CL Katori, CL Yubari and 5 DD
2.- Escorting Force:
CA Kako, CA Aoba, CA Kinugasa, CA Furutaka and 3 DD
CS Mizuho and CS Chitose will be detach to Milne Bay at soon this base fall in imperial hands.
3.- Invasion Group:
3 x AK, 6 x AP, 1 PG, 6 PC and 1 TK with South Sea Detachment, and combat supplies.
4.- Milne Bay Force:
2 x AP, 6 x PG, 2 x PC and 1 MSW, aboard 24th NLF.

In Rabaul 2nd Maizuru SNLF will take this base and 4th Base Force will arrive in two days to get ready airfield air supporting ops vs PM.

Bismarks report, Dec 21th 1941

After spot enemy ships, CS Group launch an air attack over them unsuccesfully with 1 floatplane shot down by aussie cruiser HMAS Perth.
Cover Group with 4 heavy cruiser will screen the Port Moresby Landing Force escorted by 3 CL and several destroyer under RADM Kakuta. CS Group will withdraw 1 hex to avoy surface contact with enemy.
Tomorrow CarDiv5 will arrive to Truk and after refuelling will head south to join naval operations at Coral Sea.

CarDiv 2 area.
"Dragon" Operation-II (Borneo South)
CarDiv 2 with BatRon1 and BatRon2 like indirect proteccion of landings at Tarakan.
Just Landing 15th & 16th Naval Guard Units, with a second echelong awaited in few days.
Landing Forced escorted by DesRon "Nagara" (CL Nagara and 7 DD) and 1 ASW Groups with 6 APD. Like Long range umbrella, 44 bettys from Takao Daitai and 25 Zero from 3rd Daitai at Jolo island.
This operation is combined with "Dragon-III" and "Dragon-Fly"

CarDiv 1 operations area
Dragon-I, Dec 25th 1941.

CarDiv 1 heading to Timor with BatRon3/BatDiv2 escorting landing force with 2nd Infantry Division, will protect landings at Amboina and Menado. Another Landing Force will head from Palaos to Thursday Island and will be protected there by CarDiv5 operating in that area.
Kisarazu Daitai with 54 G3M is the long range air umbrella at Palaos and it will be transfered at Amboina when falls, if needed.
From North, a second echelon to Timor invasion is heading with 2nd Special base force, 3rd and 5th Mortar bn and 5th engineer regiment to Koepang, Yokosuka 4th SNLF to Lautem and Kainan Guard SNLF to Dili.

Dec 25th 1941.

CarDiv3 under RADM Yamada with BatRon3/BatDiv1 under VADM Kondo and Kurita Heavy Cruisers Force will launch air attacks over airfield and port facilities at Palembang, awaiting for minesweepers flotilla to sweep defensive mines before naval bombardment.
At Kuching 52 Nell, 24 Betties and 47 Zero flying offensive operations in the area.
In Malaya the XXV Army under Yamashita gain ground to the main objetive: Singapore!
