Can you do a shot of the map and pieces? This is the one where the players start at the edge and head up a path to the middle, right?

Yeah, but without a Zero bonus, how good can it be...?

I had the "Broadsides!" game by American Heritage.  Very cool.  Did you see how much that guy was selling that "Hit the Beach" game for...?  $100.  Not too shabby...

I think I had that one. Little white masts to stick in the little red and blue ships.

In my games against the AI I often start a cycle(I play 3 day turns) running before I go to bed, and check on it 1st thing in the morning. I do go to the bathroom first, so I am not addicted. Am i?????

I cut my 'wargamming' teeeth on that one back in the 60s'. The game came with a booklet on the Pafic War, that contained the picture below (among others). That game and that picture are directly responsible for an enthusiastic interest in the Pacific War that has lasted some 40 years now.

Ok, it was B-24 and a BB, but I was close... and how could I have forgotten those yellow IJA guys.

I'm going to have to see if I can pick up a copy of one of these games - I think broadsides or something close is still around - to play with my sons (8 & 10 yrs). I am sure *they* will like that.
