The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

With a paint or picture editing program you can convert the BMP to a JPG or GIF file.

http://www.irfanview.com/index.htm  is a nice one, and it's free.

It sounds like you already know how to create the map ( screenprint, paste into MS paint or some other program ). When you go to save the image as a file, at least with MS paint, you can choose from a lot of options. I like the GIF style image, so I usually save my images as GIFs. Then, if the file is less than 500KB you can upload it to the forum here.

to create maps for the forum when I'm playing Toaw, I like to hit the print-screen button ( it's right above the insert button on my keyboard ) and then I open an instance of MS paint and do a keyboard dance of 'CNTL-V' to paste the image into MS paint. Then I crop it, annotate it, resize it, etc. and finally save it as a GIF file. I try to make sure it's less than 500KB in size so I can post it here on the forum. I like GIFs because they seem to be less in size than the same image in JPEG although I guess if either one can be posted on the forum then either one will work.

Good luck on your AAR.

Here's a picture I recently posted in my AAR:
