Ready planes with no strike target

Post by blastpop »

Is there a way to prepare for a strike and having it ready to launch? An example is to prep a strike, say at 0400 or 0430, waiting for a potential target of opportunity to present itself and then launching a strike if needed. Also a way to “unprepare” a strike to clear the deck if needed. If there is that kind of functionality, I can’t seem to find it either in the rules manual or fiddling with the game.

If not available it might be a good thing to add to the next patch.

It's there on one of the Carrier Screens, I can't remember which one. There is an "Arm" button in the bottom left of the display...

I did find the arm button on the Carrier/Airbase Screen. Will try it out tonight at home.

There's an Arm button on the Carrier Screen. Arming and fueling is dealt with on Page 28/29 in the manual and in Tutorial 13.
