My personal favorite comes from Honduras

I was in Honduras for a second mission trip two years ago.

Worked at an orphanage doing construction.

[alaviner]

the Orphanage is up in the moutains outside of Tegucigalpa

[alaviner]

They grow the coffee  there as a cash crop.

[alaviner]

They house 40 to 50 kids there.

[alaviner]

I highly recommend trips like that.

It was some of the most rewarding work I have ever done

[alaviner]

I continue to get "paid" when I get newsletters from the group.

[alaviner]

It was fun trying to play soccer (football) with the kids.

[alaviner]

A bunch of low country 30 and 40 somethings

[alaviner]

trying to keep up with teenagers that were aclimated to 5000 ft

[alaviner]

We did manage a tie

[alaviner]

but I think they took it easy on us

[alaviner]
