If this is regarding some graphics changes in 1.5, some of the graphics code had to be rewritten at the expense of time that David would rather have used elsewhere. Microsoft changed some of the tools and .dll files for DirectX, and David was forced to update.

Would you really have wanted him not to update bump-mapping and a few extra features while he was updating that code?

This wasn't a major rebuild. Community members have been asking for some upgrades, but that will not likely come until Maximum-Football 2.

There is some background information on these types of things that is generally only discussed in the private forum, so the details may not always be known to the public, but the development team does go over issues. Sometimes there isn't much of a choice, as in this case, to set priorities. Microsoft forced the issue, and it is not exclusive to Maximum-Football.

There are actually some uniform and graphics issues that have been brought up in both the public and private forums, so I didn't look at the post as a joke.  Although, as far as I know, there are no major problems posted.
 
It is sometimes hard to tell how a post is to be read because text is rather lifeless in expression.  Normally, one uses the wink smiley for jokes unless the joke is really deadpan humor.
 
As always, constructive feedback is appreciated.  The Maximum-Football community is stronger for it.
