For Jason: sound file artifact

Post by RobertMc »

Hello Jason:
Would you please check out the sound file 1movement0.ogg? I think this particular sound file is the same in all games. It's the tank movement sound with the squeaking tank treads. (It's the Sherman tank sound, I know, in West Front).
Anyway, I think there's an artifact in this file that has been there since the earliest days of the Campaign Series, and Talonsoft never removed it.
If you listen carefully, you can hear a voice start up about midway through the file and you can hear snippets of a voice (speaking French?) through the second half of the file.
I'd suggest cutting the second half of the file where the voice comes in and cut-and-pasting the first half of the file to fill it out.
Just a suggestion, as (for me, at least) the artifact gets really irritating after a while.
Thank you, and thanks for all the work you've put into this.

Taken note of this, thank you!
