Are Graphics Moddable?

Post by geozero »

I noticed that one screen showed ARMOR but the symbol was like a Motorized Cavalry...are some of the graphics moddable? I'd like to mod the German flag...I know, I know...but me likes my historical games accurate as possible.
JUST SAY NO... To Hideous Graphics.

The units subfolder is even more interesting. Lots of scope for modding there, e.g no Lancaster bomber for the RAF and early USA fighters are Spitfires!

Are you serious?! Early USA fighters are Spitfires?? Sorry, if I'm paying this much cash for a game, they can at least get the basic unit graphics right. I'm tired of the developers counting on the modding community to overcome their less-than-thorough approach to game design. If this were cheaper, I'd let it slide. But a digital and physical purchase for 74.00 (with shipping)?! Hard for me to swallow.

Spifires of course [:)]

Not sure how the icon changes in the game, is it by year or what?

Anyway you can mod away as much as you want and anyway for me it does not really matter as I already prefer the counter to the 3D image

The icons change based on the research advances.
