Yorktown sunk...twice. FoW or possible bug?

Post by uncc »

Last game I played (Coral Sea variant) I got a report that a sub had sunk the Yorktown. Problem was the Yorktown had already been sunk for some time, at least one day. The TF only had 1 CA and 3 DDs left in it when I got the report. Perhaps the Japs just finished off her still floating, burned-out, and abandoned hulk?

I'm playing the Coral Sea scenario now but I have not seen that happen... yet. "I will keep a sharp eye out though." That's a quote from Pirates Of The Carribean movie. [;)]

The Germans, if you believed Herr Goebbels, managed to sink the Ark Royal several times, but I'm sure that Alex will sort out any problems.
