USSR

I've taken Moscow out as the Axis in 1942. I didn't see a message about the capital being moved. What's the method for knocking these persistent buggers out?

Even further East is Perm...take it and it's over.

I've been to Perm (we adopted our daughter there) and it's quite a nice place. The city was renamed to Molotov at one point, who was one of Stalin's ministers, but it's not clear if that was during or after WWII.

I am wondering: if you dont attack USSR as the germans are they going to declare war at a given date? I mean war is unevitable with USSR right?

I played many turns without attacking the USSR and eventually you get a message that they have joined the Allies.

I had lots of time. I built up a lot of troops on the eastern front but the USSR still kicked my butt back acroos the border. I am at this very moment trying to salvage the situation. I brought my lap top to my office and I'm going to play a few turns this afternoon.
