Blue screen of death

Post by robarrieta »

I just purchased this yesterday and my game keeps crashing and I'm getting the "blue screen of death". I'm running version 2.41 on XP. Any suggestions?

Maybe you got a bad download, try it again.

You mean reinstall or download the game again? Is it possible to d/l the game again once I purchased it?

I think you can download the game as many times as you want if you purchased it.

Robarrieta, how did you get on??

Check the conditions but I'm sure Digital River allow you to download as many times as you like for the first 28 days (to allow for the possibility of bad connections or downloads).

You can also pay extra and extend this period to 2 years and I think the logic behind this is that you then don't have to make a backup CD as you can re-install from DR when ever you like (probably with the latest version).
Cheers,
Reg.

I wasn't aware that I could download the game again for a limited time? How is this done? I would like to reinstall on my PC. Thanks.

I believe that you'll need your order # to do the download.  My only wish is that DR would supply servers that are capable of speeds faster than a snail's pace.
