New Commander – Europe at War Screenshots
Ten new recon images coming in from military intel for this highly anticipated WWII strategy title
Matrix Games and Slitherine (www.slitherine.com) are happy to release a 10-pack of new images detailing their highly anticipated WWII strategy title, Commander – Europe at War. Combining all the excitement and drama facing decision makers at the top of any great nation, Commander – Europe at War gives players the opportunity wage the Second World War the way see fit with as much or as little micro-management as desired.
David Heath, Director of Operations at Matrix Games, said “Commander – Europe at War has the look and polish of a fantastic strategy game but when you at the crux of this great title, it still has the rich strategic and operational-level gameplay history buffs and strategy junkies are looking for. We’re confident that these screenshots will satisfy gamers looking for a solid strategy game that isn’t too rough on the eyes while still assuring the hardcore fan of the WWII-genre that Commander - Europe at War is giving them enough strategic bang for their buck.”
Iain McNeil from Slitherine Software added “The excitement around Commander – Europe at War has been building steadily and a sizeable pack of screenshots seems to be the perfect way to feed into the buzz behind this game.”
Much like other Slitherine strategy games, Commander – Europe at War is easy to learn but hard to master. Players will find themselves immediately immersed in the delicate diplomatic situation preceding the Second World War and then undoubtedly glued to their chair when all hell breaks loose across the continent. Research new technologies to gain an edge on your opponent, manufacture armies, fleets, and bombers, and use all your strategic and tactical might to best your enemy. To satisfy the hunger of history buffs looking for accuracy and realism, Commander – Europe at War includes detailed and realistic combat that models supply, morale, terrain, leadership, equipment, training, strategic weapons and fog of war. To capture the immense scope and distance of WWII, Commander – Europe at War will include 6 epic scenarios including the famous Barbarossa campaign, D-Day and the battle for France, and a Grand Campaign that will let the player refight the entirety of the Second World War the way they see fit!

I'm sorry, what's your beef now? "Another" bit of false advertising? We don't practice false advertising, the banners just went up a tad early.ORIGINAL: elmerlee It is actually another bit of false advertising by Matrix to get you to there site. More of the same.

Bla bla bla, webbanners rotate. Just keep refreshing the page often enough if it makes you happy. Don't forget to make screenshots, for the files.ORIGINAL: elmerlee

Guess it isn't.
Banner changes once in awhile.
Just trying to be a poor mans' Ralph Naner as far as matrix is concerned.
To be honest I just don't like your business practices and would rather voice my opinion here than elsewhere.

Er.....at least 2 mistakes - it doesn't include ANY pre-war diplomacy, and it does not let you run the whole of WW2 - only that bit of it in Europe!

The screenshots remind me so much of Panzer General. The prettiest wargame I ever did play, and the most addicting. I wonder if it plays similarly.

No - nothing like it. It is a game that had much promise, but the final result is pretty ordinary.

I love the way people feel the need to put down any game that is not their current favourite
SMK is a little in to SC2
