What a map

Post by EagleMountainDK »

Hi, first a little about myself. I have been a wargamer since I was 13 (now nearly 36) and have played a lot from WWII to SciFi but ACW hasn't just caught me, besides the old TV series "North and South" [:D]

But I'm always on the look out for new games and saw that ACW was released today and that a demo was available.

Two things (for now):
1) That map rules, its really a piece of art. It looks soo damn good and it just zooms in/out without a hassle [&o]
2) The game supports widescreen from scratch (1680x1050)
3) Did I mention I like the map. [;)]

So I will try to find some time to see if this game is something for me, and mayby this is my clue to learn a little about the American Civil War.

Great map, solid AI and engaging gameplay--there certainly is a lot to like about AGEod's latest title, that's for sure!

Nice sound tract too.  I might just add this one to my collection.
