THE THREAD

[rtrapasso]

Then again, i think i've miscounted a tad...

[rtrapasso]

Nope - here i am - having completed a second "super-faber" in less than 24 hours...

[rtrapasso]

Oh, those guards are going to be pulling KP duty for a MONTH!!! [:D]

[rtrapasso]

i'm not sure what KP duty on the Thread would be, though...

[rtrapasso]

Probably something like going back and correcting subject headers where LOG seeped through... [:'(]

[rtrapasso]

More history time - YEAR 29:

Romans capture Sofia.

Agrippina the Elder is exiled to the island of Pandataria, and her sons (except Caligula) are imprisoned by Sejanus.

Jesus baptized by John the Baptist. (see year also year 27)

John the Baptist was beheaded by King Herod Antipas, perhaps at whim of Salomé, more likely for political reasons.

[rtrapasso]

Hmmm, a friend of mine was just the victim of an armed robbery at (or near) "The Gardens of Agrippina"....

[rtrapasso]

Some guy assaulted him, stole his back pack, pointed a pistol at his head, etc.

[rtrapasso]

Everyone i've known that has gone to Italy has gotten robbed... [:(]

[rtrapasso]

Usually it is pickpocketing or purse snatching... this one was the worst incident though...

[rtrapasso]

No wonder my ancestors immigrated from there...

[rtrapasso]

Of course, there's no telling about THEIR police records...

[USSAmerica]

Enough!  [:-]  [;)]

[rtrapasso]

i suspect a whole lot of folk came here in days of yore to avoid, um... "legal entanglements"...

Oh, hi Mike... did you have guard duty this morning?? [:D] [:D]

[USSAmerica]

When I find out who was supposed to have the watch, heads are going to roll!

Two fabers overnight?  And faber wasn't even involved.  [:'(]

[USSAmerica]

Morning Bob.  [:)]

Now that you've had your fun, get back to your slides and keep an eye on this place.  I have to shower and head to work. [:D]

[USSAmerica]

The sad part is, I was busy trying to catch up, and watching Yava's faber, while you were filling page 28.  [8|]

[rtrapasso]

i have successfully prevented anyone ELSE from doing a faber!! i shall guard faithfully... work does beckon!!
