Is there any reason, other than reching the limit of place names, why one would not be able to enter in a place name?
Is there any way to check and see if you are at the place name limit?


Currently, I cannot add a place name, no dialog comes up when I attempt to add a place name.. I can edit place names, and I can delete place names (which then allows me to add new ones, 1 for 1.)

I wondered that myself. Even on the somewhat modest sized 100x200 map I'm working on, I've reached the 800 name limit. Purely cosmetic I know, but if it's an easy fix I wouldn't mind have the limit maybe doubled. Otherwise I'll just settle for some anonymous villages here and there.

Yeah, when you cannot add a place name, no dialog comes up when you attempt to add a place name, but you still can edit place names, and can delete place names (which then allows you to add new ones, 1 for 1.)...then, you know you're at the place name limit...[:D]

I like more place names, too. Maybe a 'counter' could be added, also.
