Reinforcement Arrival

Post by BK6583 »

I did a word search in the maual but I didn't see any reference to this: What happens when a reinforcement "area" is occupied by enemy forces?

Some customers have asked for conditional triggers like "player must hold LZ/DZ to get his reinforcements". It has been added to the wishlist. For now, reinforcements simply arrive when and where they are scheduled regardless of the tactical situation.

Clearly, if the enemy has the LZ/DZ surrounded by entrenched heavy weapon units, then the landing forces are going to be in for a very bad time of it. And that pretty much summarizes the biggest impact of failing to control the LZ/DZ will be in the game.

I hope that helps.

The reinforcement arrives and will have to deal with the reception committee.
