Geographical error.

In the blurb to the game there is a comment “a battle for the West Indies campaign and a few tutorial scenarios”

Can anybody spot the West Indies on the strategic map?

To General staff,

Sorry to hijack your thread Joe, but I thought this would interest you also.

The Pacific map thumbnail currently on the Matrix homepage has Australia covered with lots of green stuff.

Is this representing Jungle?

We dont call Australias interior "the red Centre" for nothing. A vast part of it is desert.

I hope when WITP is released that Australian geography will be fairly accurate.

cheers.

“Wollondilly” is a wilderness area just outside Sydney. “From Wollondilly” sounds better than “from Sydney” :)

Of course the West Indies is in the Caribbean. Not too far from Cuba and Grenada. My history books do not record Castro fighting the Japanese.

And I too have experienced the bull dust from Broken Hill all the way to Darwin and from Broom to Albany and from Perth to Adelaide. Beautiful country. Certainly not green!
