Hello- Thinking of Buying- Question?

Close Combat - Cross of Iron is based on Atomic Games award Winning Close Combat Series. Close Combat is a real time game were you take command of German or Soviet squads on the Eastern Front during World War II. This version is being developed by CSO Simtek and will include many new features and improvements.

Hello, I'm new to this series and will probably purchase soon. Quick question, would you recommend the original Close Combat 2, etc if available and will they work in Win XP ? The reason for asking because am interested in Market Garden, etc. Any feed back appreciated. Thanks.

Hi GFeros,

CC2, A Bridge to Far, is an excellent game and will work well with xp. Thats what I run it on. It has a great single player campaign mode.

I can also highly recommend Cross of Iron. If you are new to the series CoI is really a worthwhile purchase. Mods galore from Poland 39 right to Normandy. Very easy to use interface.
