RTE 48

Had to uninstall and reinstall for other purposes, now am getting rte 48, can't find bass.dll. Tried from prior threads to re install from scratch, and no go. Tried to install bass.dll to game folder, and to system 32 folder, still no go. Is there another step or something else I should be doing?

I have no idea what would be going on here. If you have it in your system32 directory it should be able to find it no problem.

What OS are you running?

Windows XP.

Can you try 1.60 and see if that helps at all? Also, try disabling any anti-virus software just as a test.

Both suggestions have not worked. I am stumped.

I am on XP Professional, and have removed/installed several times to figure this out.

Did the issue with RTE 48 get resolved?  Just downloaded game and same problem occurs.
Demo worked fine on my XP.

Hobie, have you installed all of the patches? The downloadable main file still requires patches.

All ok. Downloaded ver 1 from Matrix, then 170 with patches as
directed. Nice game, fine mods.
