Matrix Games Invades Origins 2007!
The front ramp has dropped and Matrix Games is storming into Origins 2007
Matrix Games is thrilled to announce that they once again will be packing up their gear and redeploying at Origins Games Convention 2007 (www.originsgames.com) in Columbus, Ohio. Starting July 3rd through July 10th, Matrix Staff and a whole boatload of developers will set up shop at booth #1101 on the Origins floor to demo the newest games of the Matrix line up and maybe even a few unannounced titles too.
If you’re lucky enough to snag a ticket to this great event, be sure to check us out! Matrix Games will also be hosting a sizeable list of developers that will be available to chat about their new projects or to demo their latest game and give some great insight to their games that you can’t get anywhere else. Matrix fans will get a chance to meet and chat with developers like Sean Wallace (CSO Simtek), Tim Coakley (Double Shot Design), Gil Renberg (Western Civilization), and Robert Crandall (Simulations Canada) just to name a few. Many more will be there as well!
On the Matrix Games side of things, we’ll be flying out plenty of our staff: Marc Schwanebeck, David Heath, Sean Drummy, Daniel Heath, Erik Rutins, Greg Wilcox, and a bunch more.
Get more information on any Matrix Games title from www.matrixgames.com and be sure to stop by and say hi if you’re in Columbus, Ohio July 5th – 9th.

RE: Matrix Games Invades Origins 2007!
Origins itself opens the doors to the public on the 5th. David and crew are in early to do setup and generally have a good time. Rob and I will be getting into Columbus this evening, if I get the rest of the demo scenerio stuff done in time. Gotta run...where is my Kung-Fu Fighting game...
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

God willing we should get the live cam going.

My boneheaded colleagues at Western Civilization Software are actually considering something that would make a livecam worthwhile. And that's all I'll say.
Michael Jordan plays ball. Charles Manson kills people. I torment eager potential customers by not sharing screenshots of "Brother Against Brother." Everyone has a talent.

Here are a couple of shots of the Matrix crew during setup on the 4th. Other then no keyboards for the computers, things are going smoothly.

Near the rest rooms. Very strategic position. This is ground of tactical importance for sure. Now, I hope the bar is not far away...

Rest rooms - very strategic indeed! These ones tend to be in better shape than some of the others here too. One of the photos above shows all the shipping containers with the Matrix gear. I've seen rock bands travel with less. What we had were a stack of computers, audio-visual equipment and our own backdrop. Above out of sight in the picture are a dozen or more huge canvas banners for our various titles. Another shot has a number of inconspicuous cardboard boxes in the foreground - these are full of freshly made boxed editions of the latest games all ready to be put on display and sold. There are stacks of all the games and as the boxes are opened the roadies are piling em up and counting them out. We have a great stock this year. More shots later.
