Engineer capability - British 'Funnies'

Post by MartNick »

Hi

Playing 'the' Overlord scenario, should the British 'Funnies', Sherman Crab, and Churchill AVRE have engineer immunity when entering minefields? Both have been attacked and disrupted when doing this.

Ta ver much

Yes they should and this is to be fixed in the next update release.

Looks like you'd better stop playing.
New patch will probably mean new start. How far are you (turn)?
Read that you're playing the BIG Overlord scenario over 1000 turns.

What size are you Korps Divisions?
Sounds interesting.

If it is the scenario he is playing, then the update shouldn't affect his game, apart from the engineers functioning.

Is this scenario in the Matrix release? I looked and it seemed that only the Omaha beach scenario along with the original WF D-Day scenarios were there.

Thanks.

Nope, that is a custom scenario.

Hi

I'm up to turn 24/25. It's the 1250 turn Overlord scenario, so quite a way to go yet.

I downloaded the scenario from the Wargamer website, in the Games Depot directory under West Front/Sealion scenarios section for those interested. There are literally hundreds of scenarios/campaigns in there for WF. EFII and RS. Quite a few from Jason as well [:)]

Also noticed on this, that the Beach Ostacle hexes attack Sherman Crabs and Churchills but not Sherman DD's and other regular tanks. Should they attack tanks or act like road blocks?

The engineer vehicles will be functioning normally here soon too. They should attack tanks, yes.. but not the engineering tanks.
