RHS Standardized Ship Art

Post by Mifune »

Now at the RHS web site is the Allied Standardized Ship Art set for RHS. BlitzK compiled a set from the Standardized Ship Art and a few others to come up with this offering. Look in the RHS Basic Install Files page and you will see a folder called RHS Standardized Ship Art. BlitzK says a Japanese set will soon follow. Compiled by Blitzk for RHS

Install instructions

Rewrite the directories AlliedShip_back and AlliedShip_Transp with the supplied files

When avaliable "Standarized Art" has been used

The Japanese set will come in a few days, maybe less. I improved the process of checking the bitmaps, so I`m faster.

Thanks for everyone involved doing those fantastic art sets

I wanted to clarify that until more standarized art is avaliable, BlitzK closed the gaps with Art from Fremen, Halsey and JWE. Here is a direct link for the download http://rhs.akdreemer.com/RHS%20Basic%20 ... hip%20Art/

Is there one ship art pack for ALL forms of RHS? Or is there a separate one for RHSEOS?

AFAIK there is only one file set. Some classes (and bitmaps) are used by CVO, other by BBO, and finally other by EOS, others are used by all scenarios

I have only done the Allied ships, they are 100% the same, because EOS only have changes in the way reinforcements arrive.

Maybe Japanese use more bitmaps/variations. But I have not yet done them

I downloaded this mix of great art for RHS and now some of the ships/subs are not being represented by the correct art work.
Some of the U.S. "S" class subs look like U.S. tin cans, etc..
I am playing RHSCVO, not something extravagant like EOS??????
I am experienced at file swapping and wonder if anybody else has noticed this??

I will check it. I done it using an older RHS version. Actually I will release both the Japanese and a revised Allied Art when RHS is frozen in a few hours...

RHS has not changed ship art bitmap slots in a long time. We HAVE added a few things - not very lately - and updated a few things. I am not aware of any pointer issues for several versions. If the revised art package is not in sync with the class files, then perhaps it needs to be revised to do so? I also will take a look - as I have installed this - assuming it would be in sync with the pointers we are using.

Confirm issue: the new revised art this thread is about has many US subs shown as surface ships. It is not clear why?
They did not used to be so. Will advise Cobra.

Unable to get the RHS site to work - except for map art. The other non map link seems not to be up. Have new system - need art.

I am not sure of your issue Cid. The RHS web site is working. Downloads are not a problem. http://www.rhs.akdreemer.com/download_links.htm The direct link to the RHS standardized ship art appears earlier in the thread. Only the Allies is available at the moment.

The first page is unclear - and I was not clicking on the right line. I was trying to click what must be the subtitle

Blitzk has now provided us with a set of Japanese Standardized ship art to test with. This art pack has been tested with RHS CVO in mind. An addon will be made for BBO and EOS later. Its download location as with the Allies is at http://rhs.akdreemer.com/RHS%20Basic%20 ... hip%20Art/
